IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FIDDLING!!!!!!!!!

This is an association of Old Time Fiddlers for Old Time Fiddlers in the state of California. The hundreds of members throughout the state include fiddlers, guitar players, and other acoustic musicians as well as listeners and supporters. The members hold meetings, have workshops, hold contests, perform, entertain, educate, and otherwise serve the community while preserving and perpetuating the Old Time Fiddle musicstyles. The state of California is currently divided into 10 active Districts which cover the entire state.  See the DISTRICT MAPS and DISTRICTS pages at left for more specific information about the District in which you may live.

The CSOTFA currently holds a California State Fiddle Contest each year in March in Oroville, California.  See the CONTESTS page at left for more specifics on the schedule of this and other contests.  

This organization, abbreviated CSOTFA, is a California non-profit corporation and is an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization formed to educate about and perpetuate fiddling as an art form and cultural treasure. Donations to this organization are deductable for Income Tax purposes and are greatly appreciated.
